True. But writing that in a public forum is libel. Class 6 Criminal Libel is a felony. To make this moron a felon, though, would require a conviction.<\/p>\n<p>Somehow of other, I ended up looking into the knotty question of whether a sitting president can be indicted. <a href=\"http:\/\/scholarship.law.georgetown.edu\/cgi\/viewcontent.cgi?article=2573&amp;context=facpub\">Unclear.<\/a> The likely mechanism would be the successful act of impeachment followed by an indictment as a private citizen.<\/p>\n<p>President Trump, with a unified government behind him would not be impeached. Why? It&#8217;s all about power. Those that have it won&#8217;t want to yield it.
